The DOWNTOWN Tour will take us through Times Square, Fifth Avenue boutiques and Landmarks and into the unique neighborhood of Greenwich Village, literally “off the grid” of rigid Manhattan avenues and and side-streets. Past Greenwich Village, into SoHo and TriBeCa, with cast-iron loft buildings now housing an affluent generation of New Yorkers.

We will see The Municipal District and great examples of Beaux-Arts Architecture from the historic City Beautiful Movement of the late Nineteenth Century. We will proceed to The Financial District and The World Trade Center, The Memorial of September 11, Battery Park viewing of a great statue in the Harbor celebrating the first hundred years of Liberty in America, a spectacular gift from our sympathetic and admiring friends in France.
